Health and Safety

• Masks or face coverings are required to enter our office or ride our shuttle.

Age Requirements

• Standard Cars: Drivers must be at least 21. An underage fee applies for drivers aged 21-24.
• Luxury Vehicles and Large SUVs: Drivers must be at least 25.

Cancellation Policy

• Standard Cars (Full-Size and Smaller): Cancel same day with no penalty.
• SUVs and Vans: Cancel 24 hours in advance by email or phone to avoid fees.
• Luxury and Specialty Reservations: Cancel 48 hours in advance to avoid penalties.

EXEC Rental Requirements

• Verification of Stay: Required.
• Payment Methods:
  • No debit cards at LAX; allowed at local locations.
  • Credit cards must be from a traditional bank, with matching names on the driver’s license and card.
  • A $300 deposit plus rental charges applies.

Debit Card Rentals

• Requirements include a valid driver’s license, debit card, second photo ID, and proof of residency in LA County.
• Must be 21+; underage fee for under 25.
• Rental limit: up to a Compact SUV.

Additional Policies

• All vehicles are non-smoking.
• Rentals are limited to CA and NV.
• Return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid extra charges.
• No towing allowed.
• International licenses must be in the Latin Alphabet or accompanied by an international driver’s license.

Payment Options for Flying Customers

• Major credit cards only, with a matching driver’s license.
• $300 deposit minimum above rental charge.
• Additional documents may be required for non-US licenses.

Southern California Residents

• Major credit card required.
• Proof of residency may be required.
• No unlimited miles; 150 free miles per day, additional miles at $0.50/mile.

Delays and Extensions

• Call the office for delays or to extend rentals. Extensions are subject to approval and rate changes.

Hand Controls and Accessibility

• Hand controls available with 24-48 hours notice.

No Show Policy

• Reservations are held for up to three hours past pick-up time.

One-Way Rentals

• Contact us directly for availability and pricing.

Mileage Policy

• Unlimited mileage for rentals in CA and NV, except for Southern California residents.

Mexico Travel

• Rental vehicles are not permitted in Mexico.

Age Requirements for Rental

• Standard Vehicles: The minimum age to rent is 21. This includes non-luxury vehicles from full-size cars and smaller ones.

• Luxury and Specialty Vehicles: Renters must be at least 25 to rent luxury vehicles, 7-passenger SUVs, 15-passenger vans, cube/box trucks, and other specialty vehicles. Please get in touch with your nearest EXEC Rent-A-Car location for more details.

• Additional Charges: Renters under 25 may incur additional fees, which vary by location.

Driver’s License Requirement

• A valid driver’s license from your country of residence must be presented at the time of rental and remain valid throughout the rental period.

• If the license is not in English, an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) is required in addition to the original license.

• You cannot rent a car with only an International Driver’s Permit; the original driver’s license from your home country must also be provided.

• The driver’s license must be the original document, not a copy, and must be in the name of the main driver.

• The name on the driver’s license must match the name on the credit card used for the rental.

Additional Driver Policy

• Additional drivers can be added at the rental counter during the rental process. The additional driver must be present with the main driver and provide a valid driver’s license.

• There is no charge for additional drivers over the age of 25.

• An underage fee will be applied to drivers aged 21-24. The fee varies based on the vehicle make and model.

• A maximum of three drivers is allowed per vehicle.
